What if There’s No Reason to Fear Cancer?

“All you have to do is understand what cancer is and why it happens, and that puts you in control.” Raymond Francis, M.Sc in his book, Never Fear Cancer Again: How to Prevent and Reverse Cancer.

The title of Raymond Francis’s book makes quite a statement: Never Fear Cancer Again. Really? Well, let’s see…

What if: there were only one type of disease?

What if: there were two possible causes of disease?

What if: by following six pathways, you would find (based on your choices) either health or disease?

According to Francis, it’s as simple and as complex as:

One type of disease: cellular malfunction.

Two possible causes: deficiency or toxicity.

Six pathways to health or disease: nutrition, toxin, mental, physical, genetic, medical.

The major takeaway I had from reading this book is that our health is in our hands. To use Francis’s words: “interfering with the cancer process gives you the power to prevent or reverse cancer.”

Francis has science on his side as he maps out a path to health following the six pathways. He healed his own chronic illness decades ago after doctors could offer him no more treatment. Taking advantage of his background in biochemistry, Francis studied disease at a cellular level; and after two years rather than facing a premature death, he was back to being healthy and enjoying life.

He has shared information through a number of books in addition to Never Fear Cancer Again. This was one of the first books I read when I started looking at the relationship surrounding cancer, nutrition, and lifestyle. As I’ve previously written, Francis’s theory makes a lot of sense to me.  Check it out and let me know if it resonates with you.

  • Wow- Revolutionary sounding. This theory does seem to make sense. I will recommend his book to a few friends who I know are interested in this topic.

    • Thanks for passing info along, Roz. It’s really a good read and very thought (and conversation) provoking. And, of course, I love it when people can take control of their health and lives.

  • Although I have not read Never Fear Cancer Again by Raymond Francis Deb, I absolutely agree with his principles and love his six pathways to health and disease.

I do believe that health is on our hands and by eating a healthy diet, drinking sufficient amounts of water, regular exercise, high quality supplementation you can optimize your health.

As a health advocate of over 20 years, I also attribute a healthy mind-set and spirituality to health and longevity. In a few days time I will be 50 years of age and can happily say I have never suffered from any chronic degenerative disease and very rarely do I get sick.

The title alone of Dr Francis’ book is powerful and sends a strong message that we Never Have To Fear Cancer Again!

    • The part of his message that resonates with me the most is that we have the power to turn our health around – giving up our power is never a good thing and is simply not necessary to be healthy. Thanks for weighing in on this one!!

  • As a big believer in creating our own possibilities, I know there is always another way when it comes to being able to turn our health around. One thing I have learned is that most often physical illness is not the place the illness begins. Often there is a spiritual disconnect which leads to the physical manifestation of an illness or disease. Having been told many things by many well-meaning medical doctors, I chose a different path back to health for myself. Although I had also been written off by not only the medical doctors, but my family and friends as well, it is amazing what the human spirit can do when it comes to creating new possibilities. I love that Dr. Francis’s own experience is the basis for his books and that his own background in the sciences contributes to the information he shares. Although each of us is uniquely individual, when we take responsibility and chose the six pathways back to health, health becomes possible. This path is not for the faint of heart, as many people are looking for a quick fix and want doctors to offer them the solution. It takes belief in yourself and a sincere willingness to heal on all levels of your being, to turn it all around. This is why I love the health team I am on, as we all are committed to helping others find the optimal ways to reclaim their own health. And success stories abound! Thanks for sharing your sincere interest in helping people with cancer find new ways to turn their own health around, Deb.

    • Success stories are everywhere – including you and your story. Thank goodness for strong intuition!! I’m grateful that so many people are willing to sharing their experience with the healthcare industry ~ lots of paths to health, all beginning with one step.

  • Interesting take on this Deb, sounds like a good way to combat sickness and take control of your health. I will have to find a copy and give it a read. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Ian

    • Hope you get your hands on a copy of the book, Ian. It’s a good read and gets you thinking about how powerful each of us is when facing a serious diagnosis.

  • I couldn’t agree with you more. Having a right mindset and beliving in yourself will influence on our health. I saw some research that cancer patients who visualized “cancer is melting down like a snow ball in summer” are more likely to cure from cancer rather than who didn’t. Thank you for sharing, Deb!

    • The power of the mind is incredible – thanks for sharing your thoughts Kaz!

  • Hi Deb,
Great post and tons of food for thought on that “dreaded” word cancer……I do agree that our health is definately in our hands and we need to do the best we can to be as healthy as we can possibly be! Sounds like this is a good book to read 🙂 Thanks for sharing!!

  • I have always been a believer that your health care should be in your hands. Doctors should be considered partners, not the have-all end-all solution to all your medical problems. People should play a proactive role in learning about, managing, and maintaining healthy habits to create a healthy lifestyle.

  • Well, I just might have to look into this. We have a couple of family members facing some grave illness, and this might be what we need to get ahead of it…not to mention for myself as well. Thank you for sharing!
